Description:

Apex is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the finance and development teams in all aspects of project economic forecasting, including financial modeling of project costs, operating assumptions, cash flows, tax benefits and other incentives, cash and tax equity investment, project debt, and sensitivity analysis. Former experience in modeling utility-scale wind energy projects required, with a strong background in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Financial modeling of utility-scale wind projects in Excel
• Maintain all project models with current and updated assumptions
• Model economics of project documents, including land leases, IC, EPC/BOP, PPA, O&M, etc.
• Model financial assumptions and structures (debt, equity, PTC/ITC, grants and other incentives, depreciation benefits, lease financing, partnership flip, etc.)
• Perform sensitivity analysis on project models
• Provide narrative analysis on financial models for project financing and investment consideration
• Compile and maintain support files to justify project assumptions

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record, MBA preferred
• Three to five years minimum of related experience
• Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power-Point, etc.
• Proven track record and strong interest in financial modeling
