Description:
Apex is seeking an Origination Manager to lead power marketing, utility client management and power purchase agreement negotiations for the sale of renewable energy to wholesale power buyers. Ideal candidate will have closed multiple power purchase negotiations and have successful track record in renewable energy RFP’s.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Apex participation in Renewable energy RFP’s
- Manage relationship with utility clients
- Manage internal research and analysis on brown power and REC prices
- Initiate power purchase/JV discussions with potential power off-takers from Apex wind energy projects
- Negotiate and close power purchase agreements
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record, MBA preferred
- Three to five years minimum of related experience
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power-Point, etc.
- Proven track record of successful PPA’s
