Description:
Apex is seeking an accountant to support all aspects of project cost accounting and financial reporting for a growing organization currently funded by private investment. Position requires working knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting including financial consolidation.
Responsibilities:
- Full-charge bookkeeping: maintain general ledger, receipts, disbursements, payables, general journals for various projects
- Perform monthly closing and reporting during project construction and operations periods
- Prepare project financial statements
- Assist with consolidation of company financial statements
- Assist with annual audit and tax preparation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. plus minimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics SL and SQL preferred
- Working knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting
